Anton Zimmerman

Bernkastel, Germany

Zimmermann has a wine tradition of over 200 years starting back in 1780. The estate is now run by the 7th generation of Zimmermanns. The Zimmermann family has inherited the talent to produce excellent, high-quality wine by hand. 85% of the Riesling grapes and 15% of the Pinot Noir grapes grow on approximately 3 hectares of vineyards on slate weathering soils in the south/south-west inclined slopes of Bernkastel-Kues.

Weingut Kowerich

Geisenheim, Germany

Leiwen is located on the Middle Moselle, nestled on a particularly beautiful river bend between Trier and Bernkastel. The valley is sun-drenched, blue Devonian slate characterizes the landscape and the aroma of the wines that have been growing here for two millennia. Riesling has been cultivated on the Moselle since 1465. In Geisenheim, we budding viticulture engineers learned that tradition belongs in the bottle and not on it. They live by the saying that is quite simple: "Let wine gladden the heart of man" (Psalm 104:15).
